Hello, I'm Emmalea McElhinney, owner of Outlaw Leather LLC. Leatherwork may be a recent passion of mine, but boy does it light a fire in me. Spring of ‘24 I was asked by a dear friend to make a bouquet wrap for her wedding. With only experience in minor saddle repairs at the time, I nervously took on the task. I quickly found out that I enjoyed the challenge, and making her smile from the piece made it even better. Shortly after, I had multiple friends of my husband ask me to make them some belts. I got to it, and with encouragement through friends and family, I created Outlaw Leather LLC. I’ve always loved the deep tradition that leather working brings, but with a splash of modern flare. And that, I hold dearly.
